**Umi****vale Activa**, a mutual insurance company collaborating with the Spanish Social Security system that provides advisory services to companies and healthcare assistance to workers, is seeking a graduate or licensed physician. Among other responsibilities, and reporting directly to the department head, the candidate will perform the following duties: **Clinical Responsibilities** * Provision of emergency and scheduled medical care in occupational accident and occupational disease clinics. * Patient reception (medical history, evolution, and follow-up). * Determination of the type of contingency. * Clinical examination according to protocols and complementary tests. * Diagnosis, treatment application, and follow-up. * Functional capacity assessment. **Administrative Responsibilities:** * Managing sick leaves, discharges, and home-based care (Pdx, referrals to specialists, RHB, Psychology, IQ); tracking absences. * Preparing discharge recommendations, incapacity assessments, medical reports (for patients or the National Institute of Social Security – INSS), and notifications regarding occupational diseases. * Monitoring procedures at contracted centers. * Handling telephone inquiries, contacting SMEs, and liaising with public agencies (INSS, Labor Inspection). * Assisting in judicial proceedings. * Scheduling work activities (appointments and calendar management, email correspondence), recording actions in the designated application, reviewing and supervising active sick leaves, supporting workflow improvements, monitoring healthcare expenditure, and assisting in fraud prevention. OFFERED: * Indefinite-term contract * Full-time position: 1692 annual effective working hours. * Working hours: Weekly rotating shift. Morning shift: 8:00–15:30; Afternoon shift: 12:30–20:00 * Social benefits * Graduate or licensed physician.
