




Job Summary: We are seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure manufacturing standards, conduct inspections, control quality on-site and during production, and coordinate the work of external inspectors. Do you have experience as a Quality Control Inspector in the manufacturing and assembly of structures or components? Currently, as a recruitment consultancy, we are searching for **a Quality Inspector** on behalf of our client, a well-established company in **Cartagena.** **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS** The primary responsibility is to **ensure that all manufactured items meet quality standards**, by inspecting work before, during, and after welding. * Perform **visual inspections and non-destructive testing**, record results, and report any defects for correction. * Control quality on-site and during production, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and applicable standards (ISO 3834, EN 15085, EN 1090…). * Coordinate and review the work of external quality inspectors. * Identify errors or deviations and document them accurately. * Train and guide welders and fitters to prevent recurring failures. * Conduct **internal audits** (including 5S). * Support the Quality Manager in planning controls to ensure quality and productivity. * Verify compliance with procedures and documentation of the management system. **Additional Responsibilities:** * Propose training when frequent errors are detected. * Perform final inspections prior to product dispatch. * Collaborate with the Quality Department or Project Manager as required. * Maintain workplace order and cleanliness in accordance with the 5S methodology. * Complete daily work reports and communicate absences. * Comply with and promote safety regulations, use of PPE, and environmental measures. * Foster teamwork and effective coordination with other departments. **REQUIREMENTS** Secondary education (ESO) or equivalent; vocational training (FP2) in Welding and Boiler-making, Metal Construction, Mechanical Manufacturing, Machining, or similar. At least one of the following certifications: Level I, II, or III in NDT (Visual Inspection, Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, or Radiographic Testing). At least one of the following certifications: Level I, II, or III in ICS issued by Cesol. Basic Occupational Health and Safety (P.R.L.) certification. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Quality Supervisor/Inspector in the manufacturing and assembly of structures and/or components, both in workshop and on-site environments. Competence to perform tasks and responsibilities outlined in UNE EN 1090\-1, UNE EN 15085, and UNE EN 3834\. Methodical, organized, and disciplined individual.
