Job Summary: We are seeking a driver for waste collection, with responsibilities including operating specialized vehicles and collaborating in route management and collection tasks. Proposing improvements to optimize collections Serveis Ambientals del Vallès Oriental, S.A. requires temporary staffing for the position of waste collection driver. • Drive specific waste collection or haulage vehicles: crane trucks, compactor trucks, box-body trucks, box-body vans, and street sweepers. • Follow assigned routes and circuits as directed by supervisors and company management. • Ensure the assistant(s) perform their duties efficiently and with minimal effort, facilitating waste collection at locations where citizens have deposited it. • Maintain the vehicle in good condition, adhering to established safety regulations and best practices. • Report waste collection incidents to the supervisor. • Assist in collecting waste, bulky items, scrap metal, used oil, and other waste types assimilable to municipal waste. • Comply with established safety regulations and best practices. • Propose improvements to optimize collections, streamline routes, or enhance the quality of selective collection. • Complete work sheets and truck inspection sheets. Identify and report incidents to the technical department. * Minimum 6 months’ experience. The following experience will be positively considered: a) Experience in the waste sector performing similar tasks. b) Experience in the services or logistics sector involving urban vehicle transportation (ideally trucks). * Lower Secondary Education Certificate * Catalan (Intermediate spoken, Intermediate written) * Spanish (Advanced spoken, Advanced written) * Personal vehicle availability * Driving licenses: B, C * Temporary employment contract (6 months) * Full-time schedule * Additional relevant information: Annual gross salary: 30\.365,74 €
