Description

In Granada, a cashier is needed to register and process product payments at the checkout counter using cash, credit/debit cards, or mobile devices. Responsibilities include opening and closing the cash register, performing end-of-shift cash reconciliations, addressing customers' quick inquiries regarding prices and products, and collaborating with team members to expedite checkout during peak hours. The cashier also maintains a clean and organized checkout area, replenishes consumables, assists with restocking nearby products, and supports bagging. Effective communication with customers and colleagues is essential, along with attention to detail in cash handling and the ability to work under pressure during busy periods. Speed, accuracy, and a proactive attitude for resolving minor issues are highly valued. The position requires availability to work commercial hours, including weekends and public holidays. Continuous training is provided on the POS system and customer service. This role is critical to the store's image, as it represents the final point of contact with the customer. We seek candidates with a strong customer orientation, excellent communication skills, and problem-solving ability. Prior experience in collections and cash handling, as well as familiarity with POS systems, will be considered an advantage. Initiative, meticulousness in cash handling, and flexibility to work commercial hours are required. Education: No formal education required, primary education sufficient.
