**Description:** ---------------- Micofer by Empatif is seeking a **Laboratory Technician** for a major canned food company located in Vilaboa. Responsibilities: * Quality control of raw materials upon receipt, verifying compliance with established specifications. * Conducting sensory evaluations and analyses of the product during various stages of the production process. * On-site presence and monitoring to ensure proper execution of the manufacturing process. * Accompanying and supervising the production process, identifying deviations and reporting incidents. * Sampling and sample management for internal and/or external analysis. * Inspection and control of product traceability, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Offer: * Initial employment through an ETT (Temporary Work Agency), with potential for continuation. * Positive working environment. * Rotating shift schedule with flexibility for afternoon shifts. **Requirements:** --------------- Minimum requirements: * Availability for rotating shifts. * Education in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Higher Technical Degree in Laboratory Analysis and Quality Control, or equivalent. * Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within the food industry. * Knowledge of quality control, traceability, and food regulations. * Ability to work in an industrial environment and conduct on-site monitoring. * Organized, methodical individual with attention to detail. Preferred qualifications: * Experience in sensory evaluations or organoleptic analysis. * Proficiency in office software and laboratory management systems.
