We are currently seeking a **Laboratory Technician** to join our technical team in **Vitoria**, actively participating in sampling and testing of construction materials. **Main Responsibilities** ------------------------- * Sampling of materials on site (extraction of concrete, rock, and bituminous mixture cores) * Opening and sealing boreholes using manual mechanical hammers * Conducting exploratory excavations on structures—a physically demanding task that may involve full-day work in hard-to-access areas * Performing basic field and laboratory tests according to technical standards * Sample preparation, labeling, and preservation * Supporting the technical team in material quality control tasks * Compliance with the company’s established safety and quality procedures **Requirements** -------------- **Mandatory:** * Class B driving license (required) * Availability to work on construction sites performing physically demanding tasks **Desirable:** * Training related to construction, laboratory work, or materials testing (Vocational Training, Professional Certificate, or equivalent) **Competencies:** * Organized individual capable of working both independently in the field and collaboratively in a team * Physical stamina and a proactive attitude toward demanding tasks **We Offer** ------------- * Permanent contract * Initial training and ongoing technical mentoring * Integration into an established professional team * Opportunities for professional development within the SOCOTEC Group * Full-time schedule: Monday to Thursday, 08:00–13:00 and 15:00–18:00; Friday, 08:00–14:00 * Salary conditions according to the applicable collective agreement and candidate’s experience **If you are interested in joining our team and meet the requirements,** ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **We look forward to receiving your application!**
