FOTA Integration & Validation Engineer (M/F)

Overview: Are you passionate about connected vehicles and the technologies that enable remote software updates for cars? At Expleo, we are looking for a **FOTA Integration \& Validation Engineer** to participate in the development, integration, and validation of **Firmware Over-The-Air (FOTA)** solutions in cutting-edge automotive projects. **What will you do?** You will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for ensuring that ECU and embedded system software updates are deployed securely, reliably, and in compliance with customer requirements. * Integrate and validate FOTA functionalities in vehicles and test benches. * Execute validation campaigns for remote software updates. * Analyze incidents occurring during software download, installation, and recovery processes. * Verify communication among ECUs, gateways, TCUs, and cloud platforms. * Perform functional, regression, and robustness testing. * Generate validation reports and defect tracking documentation. * Collaborate with development, cybersecurity, connectivity, and electronic architecture teams. * Participate in defining validation strategies and test automation. **✅ Requirements** * Experience in integration and/or validation of electronic systems in the automotive industry. * Knowledge of vehicle E/E architecture. * Experience with communication networks: * + CAN + LIN + Automotive Ethernet + UDS Diagnostics * Knowledge of ECU updates and embedded software management. * Experience in log analysis and incident resolution. * Fluent English (B2\-C1\). * **Highly desirable** * Prior experience in FOTA/SOTA projects. * Proficiency with tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, Wireshark, or Vector Suite. * Knowledge of AUTOSAR. * Experience with Connected Car platforms. * Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity (ISO 21434\). * Experience in test automation using Python. **We are looking for someone who is...** * Analytical and problem-solving oriented. * Capable of working autonomously. * Accustomed to international environments. * Interested in emerging connected vehicle technologies and software-defined vehicles. **Location** Valladolid / Hybrid model. **What do we offer?** At **Expleo**, we know your well-being and professional development are essential to achieving success together.
