The selected candidate will implement interventions aimed at enhancing communication, language, and student participation through individualized programs and evidence-based methodologies. They will collaborate closely with the center’s educational and therapeutic team, as well as with families, contributing to students’ holistic development and improved quality of life. Main Responsibilities Initial assessment and ongoing monitoring of students’ communication needs. Design and implementation of individual and group speech-language therapy intervention programs. Development and use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems. Coordination with the educational team in developing and monitoring individualized education plans. Advising families and professionals on communication and language strategies. Preparation of reports, progress records, and technical documentation. Training and/or experience in intervention with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Knowledge of evidence-based models and methodologies for working with individuals with ASD. Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and coordinate with educational and therapeutic professionals. Responsibility, flexibility, and strong professional communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience as a speech-language therapist in Special Education Centers. Advanced proficiency in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems. Experience or capacity to design or deliver training for families or professionals. Immediate availability.
