Collaborating in sample registration and waste management **Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP specializing in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance services in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental matters, seeks to hire 1 Laboratory Technician to carry out tasks related to Agricultural Health in Lugo **Work Location** -------------------- * Lugo **Functions and Tasks** ---------------------- * Performing techniques—primarily molecular biology techniques—for diagnosis and molecular characterization of plant health pathogens * Preparing and processing samples, reagents, and reference materials * Assisting the laboratory's integrated quality management system * Assisting in laboratory material procurement, supervising and controlling orders and associated documentation, recording products, reviewing and monitoring stock levels, and managing the material database * Collaborating in horizontal tasks including sample registration, cleaning of laboratory equipment, warehouse operations, and waste management **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with requirements and/or merits must be substantiated by completing evaluation tests and/or attaching necessary documentation in the "Annexes" section of the application questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request, at any stage of the process, documentary evidence supporting data declared in the application, as well as to require additional information from the curriculum vitae whenever necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits for this vacancy. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Hold an FP II or Higher Vocational Training Cycle qualification in professional families including Health Sciences, Chemistry, Food Industries, Safety and Environment, Agriculture, and/or Maritime-Fisheries (qualification officially recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) **Merit Criteria (Evaluable)** ------------------------ ### **Prior Experience** * 3 months to 1 year of experience performing molecular biology techniques such as PCR (professional, academic, or both) (to be verified during technical evaluation) * 3 months to 1 year of experience performing microbiology techniques (professional, academic, or both) (to be verified during technical evaluation) * 3 months to 1 year of experience performing other diagnostic techniques—including immunology, physicochemical methods, chromatography, etc. (professional, academic, or both) (to be verified during technical evaluation) * 3 months to 1 year of experience using laboratory information management systems for sample and warehouse material traceability and tracking (professional, academic, or both) * 3 months to 1 year of experience managing procurement—primarily of laboratory materials—including order follow-up, stock control, warehouse operations, and document management (professional, academic, or both) * 3 months to 1 year of experience working in diagnostic laboratories—including sample reception, processing, and registration (professional, academic, or both) (to be verified during technical evaluation) * 3 months to 1 year of experience working in laboratories accredited under ISO/IEC 17025, applying standardized work procedures, and participating in audits (professional, academic, or both) (to be verified during technical evaluation) **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Fixed-term contract estimated at 6 months, extendable up to a maximum total duration of 9 months, if applicable. + If a training/practicum contract is formalized, the candidate’s qualification must be directly related to the duties of the position offered, and activities performed must align with the qualification linked to the practicum contract, enabling acquisition of professional experience appropriate to the candidate’s academic level. + Full-time working schedule.
