Description

The position focuses on ensuring the quality of braking components by conducting a thorough inspection of all parts at the end of the production line. The primary responsibility is the 100% visual inspection of manufactured brake discs, accurately identifying any surface or dimensional defects that could compromise their functionality and safety. This process is essential to guarantee that only products meeting the most stringent standards are released for subsequent distribution, ensuring the final product's reliability. In addition to inspection, the operator is responsible for the final packaging and verification stage, where a final visual check of the finished product is performed before its definitive packaging, intended for the original equipment spare parts channel. This stage requires meticulous attention to confirm that packaging adequately protects the product and that all associated documentation—such as labels and codes—is correct. Basic maintenance tasks for the work area are also included, ensuring order, cleanliness, and strict compliance with the plant’s established safety regulations. This role is essential within the production process, acting as the final quality filter before the product reaches the customer. Precision and consistency in verification tasks are key to maintaining high manufacturing standards. The work environment is dynamic, located on an industrial production line, where efficiency and meticulousness must be balanced to meet quality objectives and established delivery deadlines. Hiring is conducted under a Fixed-Term Intermittent full-time contract, with rotating shifts from Monday to Friday. Working hours are 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00. Compensation is competitive and governed by the Valladolid Iron and Steel Industry Collective Agreement, with an indicative gross annual salary of 19\.300 euros. The position includes the statutory benefits corresponding to this contractual modality. A minimum of one year’s experience as an operator in the automotive sector is required, preferably in quality control or production areas. A valid forklift operator license is essential for performing basic material handling tasks. The candidate must be meticulous, possess a strong attention to detail for visual inspection, and be committed to strictly adhering to all industrial plant safety regulations.
