*A group specializing in logistics and transport services, with 1,500 employees and a presence across the entire French territory as well as Europe, is recruiting for its international freight forwarding company* ***based in IRUN, SPAIN, a Freight Forwarder–Operations Officer (M/F)*** **Responsibilities**: Reporting to the Operations Director, your main responsibilities are: * Organize freight transportation on behalf of our clients, utilizing either our internal resources or our network of contracted carriers. * Allocate human and material resources optimally to respond effectively to transportation requests while ensuring profitability and service quality. * Maintain constant contact with our carriers and clients to ensure smooth communication and rigorous monitoring of our services. * Collaborate closely with operations and billing teams to ensure coherent and efficient file management. * Monitor transportation operations end-to-end, ensuring compliance with client commitments, applicable regulations, safety instructions, and internal procedures. * Analyze performance and quality indicators to propose and implement continuous improvement actions. * Ensure proper implementation of the company’s Quality, Safety and Environment (QSE) policy within your scope of responsibility. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ A group specialized in logistics and transport services, with 1,500 employees and a presence across the entire French territory and throughout Europe, is seeking a Traffic Manager for its international freight forwarding company based in IRUN (SPAIN). **Functions**: Reporting to the Operations Director, your main functions will be: * Organize freight transportation for our clients, using both our own resources and our network of subcontracted carriers. * Assign human and material resources optimally to respond effectively to transportation requests, ensuring profitability and service quality. * Maintain constant contact with subcontracted carriers and clients, ensuring smooth communication and rigorous monitoring of services. * Collaborate closely with operations and billing teams to ensure coherent and efficient file management. * Monitor transportation operations comprehensively, ensuring compliance with client commitments, current regulations, safety instructions, and internal procedures. * Analyze performance and quality indicators, proposing and implementing continuous improvement actions. * Ensure correct application of the Quality, Safety and Environment (QSE) policy within your area of responsibility. **Profile:** * You hold a vocational qualification (Bac+2 to Bac+3) in transport or commerce; prior exposure to this profession—through initial work experience or an apprenticeship in transport operations and/or freight forwarding—is highly desirable. * **You are proficient in professional German and English**, essential for operating in an international environment. * Dynamic, rigorous, and organized, you can manage priorities reactively. * You possess strong interpersonal skills, enjoy teamwork, and can communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. * You are familiar with social regulations governing transport and comfortable using IT and office software. **What we offer:** * A full-time permanent position, with Supervisor status commensurate with experience. * Monthly fixed remuneration to be determined according to candidate’s experience and competencies. ***Do you recognize yourself in this profile?
