At **VengaJobs**, a consultancy specialized in national and international recruitment and talent mobility, we are collaborating with an established construction company in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, specializing in building construction and residential projects, to hire **a Mason.** We seek a candidate with proven on-site experience, problem-solving skills, and solid command of trade-specific techniques, who wishes to join a stable team with growth prospects on the island. **Responsibilities** ---------- * Execute masonry work in new construction and residential renovation projects: erecting partitions and walls, plastering, rendering, and stuccoing. * Perform flooring and tiling work: laying floor coverings, ceramic tiles, and ceramic claddings. * Carry out concrete pouring, formwork, and reinforcement work for structural elements when required by the project. * Conduct repairs, refurbishment, and adaptation works for residential dwellings and spaces. * Interpret basic construction drawings and technical specifications to correctly execute assigned tasks. * Collaborate with the site manager and the rest of the team in organizing and advancing work at each project phase. * Strictly comply with all on-site Health, Safety, and Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) protocols. **Requirements** -------------- * Demonstrable masonry experience in building or residential construction projects (mandatory). * Proficiency in trade-specific techniques: partitioning, cladding, flooring, tiling, and concrete work. * Training in Masonry, Construction, or related fields (desirable but not mandatory). * Responsible, punctual profile, capable of working both independently and as part of a team on-site. **Benefits** -------------- * Indefinite full-time employment contract. * Salary according to the Las Palmas construction collective agreement. * Integration into an established construction company in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, with continuous residential building projects. * Job stability and a positive working environment within an experienced on-site team.
