You will design, deploy, operate, and maintain reliable and secure on\-premises and cloud\-based IT infrastructures, ensuring availability, performance, and scalability. This role requires the ability to work autonomously in day\-to\-day operations, apply structured problem\-solving approaches, and collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams to deliver high\-quality services. **Core Responsibilities:** * Ensure contractual customer support SLAs are met. * Provide professional and effective customer support in live environments. * Maintain clear and proactive communication with customers and internal stakeholders. * Report system status, incidents, and risks to key stakeholders. * Maintain accurate asset inventory and system documentation. * Create and maintain “as\-built” documentation and technical records. * Follow defined processes and contribute to their continuous improvement. * Participate in on\-call and operational rotations as required. * Act as a positive and collaborative member of the OmniAccess team. **Role\-Specific Responsibilities:** * Design, implement, and support on\-premises and cloud\-based IT systems, including virtualization platforms, operating systems, backup solutions, and supporting infrastructure. * Implement new system solutions and improve the efficiency, performance, reliability, and security of existing environments. * Implement and support system monitoring, alerting, and capacity management solutions. * Perform advanced monitoring, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and resolution in complex system environments. * Investigate and resolve system incidents using structured troubleshooting methodologies. * Plan and execute scheduled system maintenance, upgrades, and patching activities. * Create and maintain technical and operational reports based on customer, internal, and regulatory requirements. * Create and maintain “as\-built” documentation, as well as process and procedure documentation. * Automate recurring operational tasks using scripting and automation tools to improve efficiency and reliability. **Requirements:** ----------------- **Technical Experience:** * Experience with M365 Core suite (Exchange, Teams, Sharepoint, Entra ID…). * Experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems. * Experience with backup and recovery solutions and concepts. * Experience with system monitoring and alerting tools. * Experience with Device Platforms like iOS, Android and Windows 10/11\. * Experience with identity, authentication, and access management concepts. * Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g. PowerShell, Bash). **Professional Experience:** * Experience working directly with customers in technical support or delivery contexts. * Experience explaining technical issues, solutions, and decisions to non\-technical stakeholders. * Experience managing tasks and priorities effectively in operational environments. * Experience working within defined processes, ticketing systems, and escalation paths. * Experience collaborating with internal teams to resolve incidents and deliver solutions. * Experience collaborating with cross\-functional teams in project\-based and sprint\-driven environments. **Education, Certifications and Experience:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study is a plus. * 3–5 years of experience in IT systems or cloud operations is a plus. * Relevant certifications related to systems, virtualization, cloud platforms, or backup technologies (e.g. VMware, Microsoft, Linux, cloud provider certifications) are a plus. **Desired attitudes:** * Always strives for quality and reliable results. * Demonstrates a proactive and positive communication mindset, able to engage and collaborate effectively with others. * Is a positive team player, able to work collaboratively towards common goals. * Shows organization and discipline, maintaining effectiveness in complex and uncertain environments. * Is willing to contribute ideas and viewpoints within a diverse team committed to continuous improvement. * Demonstrates a strong sense of accountability for their work and results. * Takes care of others as part of the overall OmniAccess team. **Other requirements:** * Will be part of a paid on\-call after\-hours rotation as part of the operational support model. * May work in shifts (morning, afternoon, or weekend) depending on operational needs. * \>15% travel may be required. **Why join us:** * Continuous training and possibilities for further growth as the company expands. * Annual performance bonus. * Private health insurance. * Hybrid work based in a Technology Business Park in the beautiful island of Palma de Mallorca (Spain). * Work in a collaborative team environment with high standards for delivery and accountability where you will learn about communications technology and services for maritime and yachting applications. * Be part of an international team from different backgrounds that appreciates diversity, and where ideas are always welcome and discussed. *OmniAccess is an equal opportunity employer determined to build a diverse and inclusive workplace.
