Senior Java Backend Developer (Hybrid)

DESCRIPTION If you are proficient in **Java Enterprise** and interested in working with critical transactional systems, this challenge combines backend development, integration, middleware, and databases in a high-availability environment. ### **Conditions** * **Contract:** Permanent * **Work Mode:** Hybrid, 60% remote and 40% office-based, with flexibility * **Location:** San Fernando de Henares, Av. de Castilla area * **Working Hours:** Full-time schedule to be agreed upon * **Salary:** Based on experience * **Travel:** Occasional availability for 3\-4 trips per year, each lasting up to 2\-3 days * **Language:** Technical English, minimum B2 level * **Education:** University degree or Higher Vocational Training qualification ### **Your Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain Java backend services focused on integration. * Implement APIs and endpoints, including validation, error handling, timeouts, and traceability. * Deploy and operate applications on **Apache Tomcat 9 and Oracle WebLogic Server**. * Work with environment-specific configurations, DataSources/JNDI, and troubleshooting. * Integrate services with **Oracle Database 19c** using SQL and JDBC/ORM. * Collaborate with database teams to resolve performance issues or lock-related problems. * Design robustness mechanisms, recovery strategies, and controlled retry logic. * Work with Git, code reviews, and release processes. * Provide support for critical transactional services and high-availability environments.
