CNC Programmer/Setup Operator for Lathes or Milling Machines

Description

A company specializing in metal manufacturing, located in Sant Cugat del Vallès, requires a CNC Programmer/Setup Operator for lathes and/or milling machines to join its facilities. Education: \- Intermediate or advanced vocational training in machining. Main responsibilities as a LATHE OPERATOR: * Program, set up, and adjust CNC lathes. * Program directly at the machine (Fanuc/ISO) and/or using CAD/CAM software. * Define parts and machining parameters. * Machine parts on CNC lathes, performing adjustments and corrections. * Verify product quality, dimensions, and functionality using precision measuring instruments. * When required by the Technical Office, define the manufacturing process based on engineering drawings and technical documentation. * Create programs both directly on the machine and from files. * Collaborate in developing and improving manufacturing methods. Main responsibilities as a MILLING OPERATOR: * Establish machining processes. * Create programs both directly on the machine and from files. * Collaborate in developing and improving manufacturing methods. * Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation to determine machining stages, fixtures, and required tools. * Perform pre-machining operations, preparing machines, tools, and fixtures. * Correct or modify CNC programs according to production requirements or issues detected on the machine. * Program directly at the machine (Fanuc/ISO/Mazatrol/OSP). * Create or modify CNC programs. * Program using CAM software, primarily HyperMill. * Perform dimensional and functional inspections of machined parts using measuring instruments (calipers, coordinate measuring machines), ensuring product quality, accuracy, and compliance. * Fabricate necessary fixtures for parts. Intensive morning shift: 6:00–14:15 h, or intensive afternoon shift: 14:00–22:15 h Candidates must reside near the area. Direct hiring by the company under a permanent contract.
