You will excel in this role if you meet the following: * Minimum Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS**) in one of the following specialties: Industrial Maintenance and/or Industrial Mechatronics and/or Mechanical Manufacturing and/or Industrial Automation and Robotics (only if you have practical experience in mechanics) * Minimum of 5 years of continuous professional experience in mechanical maintenance within a chemical production plant * Solid knowledge of rotating and static equipment typical of the chemical industry, including centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, reactors, valves, mechanical seals, heat exchangers, and piping systems. * Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings, isometric and process diagrams (P\&ID), as well as alignment, assembly, and disassembly techniques. * Knowledge of industrial sealing techniques, including selection, installation, and maintenance of mechanical seals, packings, O-rings, and dynamic and static sealing systems, with special attention to pressure, temperature, and chemical compatibility conditions. * Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, including operating principles, components, system maintenance, and interpretation of schematics and technical symbols applied to automation and control circuits. * Familiarity with industrial safety regulations applicable to ATEX classified environments. * Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably IBM Maximo.
