




**Description:** ---------------- We are offering a **Receptionist** position at our **Amàre Beach Hotel Ibiza located in Ibiza**. Accommodation is provided for those not residing on the island. **Your typical day will sound like this…** Support and supervision: Ensure departmental objectives are met, along with adherence to critical processes and operational standards set by the hotel. Monitor achievement of customer data collection targets. Handle customer GDPR authorizations. Supervise and manage the hotel parking operation, reconcile and settle the cashier, and address any related incidents. Cover for the night auditor during their rest periods. Execution and follow-up: Assign rooms according to optimization criteria and customer preferences whenever possible. Answer the front desk phone, manage wake-up calls, messages, and correspondence. Receive, resolve, and redirect customer feedback and complaints to maintain and achieve desired customer satisfaction levels. Record incidents in Polaris. Carry out foreign currency exchange and perform daily front desk cash reconciliation. Process billing for all hotel services and consumption, and manage chargeback rejections (cancellations). Account for room charge tickets and filing, as well as settlement of revenue from point-of-sale locations. Manage guest requests prior to arrival via email, Booking, Expedia, etc. Handle and redirect reservation inquiries received outside the operating hours of the Contact Center and Groups departments. Assist in performing administrative tasks at reception and managing document archives. Safeguard guest items left at the hotel reception. Control and quality: Monitor arrival and departure lists, paying special attention to potential incidents or special needs (VIP guests, reduced mobility, children, etc.). Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures. Follow up on Operational Ambience. Comply with and enforce organizational standards regarding quality, safety and health, environment, and data protection. Strategic participation: Collaborate with other departments to deliver the best guest experience. Actively participate in selling various hotel products and services (Upselling, Cross Selling, and Ancillaries), and serve as a reference point to provide additional visitor information: recommendations to make the most of their stay based on personal preferences, as well as information about transportation, shows, excursions, and other activities. **Requirements:** --------------- **You are ideal for this position if…** Bachelor’s degree in Tourism / Medium or Higher Vocational Training in Accommodation / Accommodation Management / Higher Vocational Degree in Hospitality and Tourism, or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Receptionist and/or 5 years as Assistant Receptionist in 4\* or higher hotels. English, Level B1\. French, Level B1\. Hotel Management Software, Intermediate level.
