From infinitely recyclable aluminum cans and cups to aerosol bottles — our goal is to contribute to a better community, society, and world.** Position: FRONT END / BACK END MECHANIC Area / Department: PRODUCTION Location: CABANILLAS DEL CAMPO **PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:** * Maintain, control, and set up machinery, auxiliary mechanical equipment, and general facilities within specifications and under proper operating conditions, following the Company's established criteria regarding safety, health, environment, quality, and efficiency. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Maintain mechanical equipment and general facilities in perfect working condition and within specifications. * Carry out changes as required and according to specifications (lithography, conversions, etc.). * Monitor and maintain production processes within specifications in their area. * Report any deficiencies, malfunctions, or other anomalies affecting either their own work or that of the rest of their team. * Perform work following safety, health, and environmental regulations, as well as quality, hygiene, safety, and food defense procedures. * Collaborate as part of a team during shifts to achieve the safety, health, environment, quality, and efficiency goals set by the Company. **INTER-RELATIONSHIPS / INTER-COMMUNICATIONS:** With other positions on their shift that impact their work, as well as with the same position on the previous and next shifts. **COMPETENCIES / BASIC KNOWLEDGE:** + Essential: Intermediate or Advanced Degree in Mechanics. + General knowledge in the use of manual tools. + General knowledge of Quality (ISO 9001\), Environmental (ISO 14001\), Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001\), and Food Safety (ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000\) procedures relevant to their job responsibilities. + Basic user-level computer skills. + Intermediate level of English language proficiency. + High alignment and tolerance knowledge recommended. + Basic knowledge of pneumatics recommended. + Recommended knowledge of operation of equipment, machinery, general installations, and work processes in their area. + Knowledge of machine tools (lathe, milling machine, grinder, etc.) and welding recommended. + Responsibility, independence, and autonomy. + Coordination and teamwork. + Stress tolerance. #### **Ball Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
