Job Posting ID: 25064 Country: Spain Job Location: Ctra Torrejón\-Ajalvir, M\-108 km 4 Ajalvir, Madrid 28864 **GTF Repair Engineer (F/M/X):** In order to strengthen the GTF Repair Engineering team at the Ajalvir facilities, we are seeking individuals who will be responsible for the following duties: **Main Responsibilities:** * Define and support the gas turbine hardware repair process, ensuring safe, robust, and time-efficient processes are implemented both internally within ITP Aero Repair Shops workstations and externally at ITP Aero suppliers. * Act as a liaison with ITP Aero Repair Engineering specialists to define, validate, and support repair processes. * Define validation strategies to meet internal and external repair process requirements, including special processes, machining and measurement strategies, etc. * Validate tooling and machinery related to repair processes. * Serve as a liaison and provide technical support to operators on processes and products, collaborating to resolve any issues arising in daily production. * Interface with the original engine manufacturer to propose technical solutions to service issues, obtain technical support, and approval of deviations and concessions. * Represent ITP Aero in technical and program meetings and audits with customers, consortium partners, or quality organizations. * Participate in and coordinate a multidisciplinary team to conduct Root Cause Analysis of quality issues and define containment, preventive, and corrective actions. * Participate in improving maintenance standards for engines where ITP Aero has design responsibility, working closely with engineering specialists across the ITP Aero organization. * Lead the introduction of new products, participating in launching new capabilities, processes, or programs within MRO shops. Participate in training and complete necessary activities to launch the first GTF in Q1 2027\. * **What profile are we looking for?** Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Industrial, or Materials Engineering. Required Knowledge: * Advanced knowledge of CNC programming on Siemens Sinumerik 840D. * Knowledge of project management, including sequencing, prioritization, and critical path analysis. * Understanding of manufacturing/repair processes relevant to the business. Understanding of aerospace materials and related standards. * Desired Knowledge: * Manufacturing systems and ERP (CAD, CAM, SAP, Technical Publications, Siemens Teamcenter, etc.). * Familiarity with common office software: Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Outlook. Desired Experience: * Experience in aerospace manufacturing or maintenance business, particularly in engineering and production areas. * Experience in CNC programming (Heidenhain) and/or CMM (Mitutoyo MCosmos, Hexagon PC\-DMIS). Languages: High proficiency in English and Spanish.
