Description

The position involves handling and managing goods within a logistics environment. Key responsibilities include locating products in the warehouse using forklifts, ensuring optimal organization of available space. In addition, the operator will be responsible for order preparation and sorting, ensuring that requested items are correctly picked, verified, and arranged for subsequent dispatch. This role is essential to maintaining the daily operational flow of the distribution center and requires constant attention to safety and quality procedures. Work takes place in logistics centers located in Seseña and Illescas, meaning the candidate must be available to travel between both locations as operational needs require. The environment is dynamic and characterized by a steady work pace, focused on meeting productivity and inventory-handling accuracy targets. Proper execution of these functions directly contributes to supply chain efficiency and end-customer satisfaction. No specific academic qualification is required for this position, but practical training and experience operating industrial machinery are mandatory. Teamwork ability, precise adherence to instructions, and adaptability to a standardized-process environment are prioritized. Working hours are structured into rotating shifts covering morning and afternoon schedules, requiring schedule flexibility from the employee. Commitment to occupational safety standards and risk prevention is a fundamental aspect of all assigned tasks. Hiring is conducted via biweekly contracts, renewable based on company needs. The working week totals 40 hours, scheduled Monday to Friday, with no weekend work. The established base salary is 10.43 euros per hour. Work shifts are rotating, alternating periodically between morning and afternoon shifts. It is mandatory to hold a valid and up-to-date forklift operator license covering five types of equipment. At least one year of demonstrable prior experience operating viper or retractable forklifts is required. The candidate must have their own vehicle to ensure mobility between the work centers in Seseña and Illescas. Availability to adapt to rotating shifts—including both morning and afternoon schedules—is essential.
