At Grupo Mimara, we are seeking a cook for one of our residences located in Sabiñánigo. You will perform the duties detailed below, as well as any other tasks requested that are related to these or to your qualifications, authorization, or professional competencies: * Prepare menus according to established guidelines, always adhering to written instructions provided by the social, healthcare, or nutrition department. Special attention to diets. * Coordinate among kitchen staff the assembly of meal carts with prepared menus. * Ensure the quality and presentation of meals. * Adjust quantities according to prescriptions from medical staff. * Receive food deliveries, store them properly, and supervise both quantity and quality. * Submit purchase requests to the general services coordinator or housekeeper, managing orders when required. * Monitor, together with your direct supervisor, economic data related to food management when applicable. * Daily check expiration dates of food items and ensure their proper storage in refrigerated chambers according to each product's characteristics and current health regulations. * Keep daily samples of prepared meals in compliance with current regulations. * Also supervise that all kitchen machinery and utensils are clean. * Organize, supervise, and control cleaning, maintenance, and order of facilities, equipment, and culinary utensils. Participate in cleaning tasks when necessary. * Ensure proper use and condition of kitchen utensils and equipment. * Control and supervise waste disposal according to current regulations. * Transport waste to the designated area within the facility for later removal. * Plate meals during mealtimes. * Collaborate within your functional scope, upon request by the technical team, in addressing users' educational needs related to your profession. * Report any incidents or irregularities observed during task performance to your supervisor. * Ensure all kitchen staff wear proper uniforms and comply with appropriate hygiene measures. * Carry out food hygiene controls and recordkeeping by monitoring risks of food contamination based on packaging and handling practices, following the preventive APPCC system and operational procedures. * Pay special attention to foods containing allergens according to current legislation.
