Job Summary: We are seeking a Drupal project leader to manage the full project lifecycle, coordinate teams, and ensure quality in Earth observation and Smart Cities solutions. Key Highlights: 1. Leads Drupal projects with a focus on coordination and quality. 2. Works on advanced technologies for Smart Cities and mobility. 3. Flexibility and remote work for better work-life balance. DESCRIPTION WE INVITE YOU TO GET TO KNOW US! If you are motivated to lead Drupal-based projects where coordination, quality, and client relationships make the difference, here you will have the space to drive robust deliveries and aligned teams. **WHO ARE WE?** Our business unit, the Earth Observation and Space Remote Sensing Center (COTESA), is a leader in applying advanced technologies for Earth observation and developing innovative solutions in areas such as Smart Cities, Smart Mobility, and urban planning. It leverages remote sensing, artificial intelligence, and big data to capture and analyze geospatial data, developing web and mobile applications that optimize resource management, improve urban planning, and enable precise market studies. Its focus on innovation and sustainability drives technological development and promotes a more efficient and sustainable future. **RESPONSIBILITIES** In your day-to-day role, you will lead the full lifecycle of Drupal-based projects, bringing order, focus, and delivery vision: * Coordinate team work by defining and assigning tasks so each sprint progresses clearly and at pace. * Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it remains active, well-defined, and aligned with real objectives. * Plan work and manage milestones, risks, and dependencies to ensure predictable deliveries. * Translate functional and non-functional requirements (usability, accessibility, performance, security) into user stories and acceptance criteria. * Monitor and verify results, ensuring delivered quality and consistent user experience. * Produce useful and reusable project documentation (decisions, scope, manuals, deliverables, meeting minutes). * Participate in tender analysis and preparation/drafting of public-sector proposals and bids. * Serve as a key point of contact for clients: presentations, demonstrations, progress tracking, and expectation alignment. **REQUIREMENTS TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:** Education: * A background in computer science, telecommunications, or related fields (Engineering/Degree or Higher Vocational Training) is especially valued, as it facilitates understanding technical dependencies, estimates, and architectural decisions without losing sight of delivery. * Certifications such as SCRUM Manager, PSM/PSPO, or PMP are also valued, as they help standardize planning, progress measurement, and scope management in projects involving multiple stakeholders. Experience: At least 3 years leading or coordinating web projects, enabling confident handling of planning, risk management, client relations, and backlog governance in quality- and deadline-driven environments. IT and Programming Languages: * Experience as a Project Manager for web portals and/or apps, as the focus will be on iterative deliveries and aligning business, UX, and technology. * Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), since team coordination and prioritization will rely on repeatable frameworks. * Familiarity with Drupal (and other CMS platforms such as WordPress), as daily discussions will include modules, integrations, deployments, roles/permissions, and portal functional evolution. * Basic knowledge of usability, accessibility, and SEO, as these are critical success levers in the public sector (compliance, adoption, and citizen experience). * Experience or context in the Public Administration, as tenders, deliverables, and traceability require an especially structured approach. * General knowledge of software development architectures and technologies (APIs, integrations, environments, CI/CD), to support decision-making and anticipate blockers. * Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello or others) and analysis/design tools (e.g., functional documentation, diagrams), as these will serve as the project’s “operating system.” Language: Fluency in English—both spoken and written—is positively valued, especially when collaborating on technical documentation or with stakeholders outside the local environment; however, it will not be a barrier if your experience otherwise fits well. Do you have something extra? We’d love to hear about it! * GIS (Geographic Information Systems) knowledge. * Experience in the public sector, particularly with interest in the Smart City domain. * Analytical, proactive profile and strong teamwork skills. **WHAT WE OFFER YOU** * Remote work and flexible hours, allowing you to organize your working day with focus and work-life balance. * Intensive summer schedule, designed to enhance wellbeing without compromising work rhythm. * Career and professional development opportunities, with challenging projects where your growth is visible and valued. * A tailored training plan supporting your growth—whether strengthening leadership, agility, Drupal/architecture expertise, or stakeholder management—according to your path. * Join a company committed to continuous improvement and growth, where process and project evolution are part of its culture. In our talent acquisition strategy, we strive to ensure every employee is evaluated fairly and objectively, based solely on their skills, experience, and potential to contribute to the company’s success. We reject all forms of discrimination and actively promote diversity in our commitment to building a workforce where equal treatment and opportunity among employees—and the eradication of all workplace discrimination—are fundamental principles.
