#### **JOB DESCRIPTION** The selected candidate will join the Grup de Recerca Neuromuscular de Badalona (GRENBA), an interdisciplinary team at the IGTP. GRENBA combines clinical, experimental, and computational approaches to advance research on rare neuromuscular diseases, with a particular focus on myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1\).The fellow will contribute to our research program analyzing biological samples from DM1 patients enrolled in the DM1\-Hub, Spain’s national patient registry. At GRENBA, we apply long\-read sequencing technologies to investigate the repetitive region associated with DM1, and we use bioinformatics and biostatistics to refine patient stratification and deepen understanding of disease pathophysiology.In addition, the candidate will design and implement innovative transcriptomic and metabolomic methodologies and multi\-omics integration approaches to uncover novel mechanisms underlying DM1 and related neuromuscular disorders#### **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** The research project will focus on the comprehensive characterization of the molecular pathophysiology of the patients within the DM1\-Hub registry. SCHEDULE: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4 to 8 pm Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am to 2 pm and from 3 to 8 pm Presence at schools to carry out service activities and be accessible to young students. Plan, implement and evaluate outreach, awareness-raising and advisory activities related to youth emotional well-being. Participate in municipal activities aimed at youth with sociocultural, socioeducational and recreational purposes. Provide individualized support to young people experiencing non-severe emotional distress. Identify whether cases of emotional distress are severe or in a preventive stage. Refer or guide young people to other mental health or similar services. Develop individualized intervention strategies. Coordinate with other municipal and regional services that also support youth mental health and emotional well-being. Advise and support other municipal professionals working with youth or interacting with them regarding emotional well-being. Support families of young people to promote the emotional well-being of their children. Prepare service programming documents, reports and summaries. Attend coordination and follow-up meetings for the service. Experience: 1 year. Degree in Psychology. Demonstrate experience in educational leisure with youth or having worked in municipal Youth Services. Demonstrate at least one year of experience working with youth experiencing emotional distress. Residing in the municipality or surrounding areas is desirable. * Temporary employment contract (6 months) * Full-time
