Strict adherence to hygiene and food safety protocols **Kitchen Assistant (Temporary Replacement) \- Pou del Glaç Youth Camp (Accommodation and Meals Included)** **Join the Rosa dels Vents kitchen team** We are seeking an agile person with immediate availability and strong teamwork skills to join us as a Kitchen Assistant for a temporary replacement at our Pou del Glaç Youth Camp, located in a privileged natural setting in Empordà. You will support the preparation of meals for visiting groups of children, youth, and families, ensuring efficient meal service and compliance with the highest hygiene standards throughout the duration of this temporary assignment. **What will your mission be in the kitchen?** You will be a key contributor to smooth kitchen operations, providing direct support to the camp’s chef: * **Preparation support:** Performing "mise en place" (peeling, cutting, and preparing vegetables, meats, and other ingredients) and assisting with plating or tray assembly. * **Cleaning and organization:** Maintaining cleanliness of the work area, kitchen utensils, and facilities during and after service. * **Dishwashing management:** Washing and disinfecting tableware and kitchen equipment used in both kitchen and dining areas. * **Food safety:** Strict compliance with hygiene protocols and the HACCP food safety system. **What profile are we looking for?** * **Immediate availability:** As this is a temporary replacement position, we require candidates who can start urgently. * **Previous experience:** Prior experience as a kitchen assistant or auxiliary staff—especially in collective catering settings (youth camps, schools, or hotels)—will be highly valued. * **Agility and versatility:** We seek someone who works quickly and adapts immediately to the camp’s operational pace. * **Teamwork:** Ability to coordinate effectively with kitchen and dining room staff to ensure seamless service. **What do we offer at Rosa dels Vents?** * **Temporary replacement contract:** A fixed-term contract covering an absence—ideal for gaining experience within our organization and entering our employment pool for future vacancies and upcoming seasons. * **Daily savings:** Free accommodation and full board at the facility during your working days, maximizing your take-home pay. * **Salary:** Gross monthly base salary of 1\.474,50 €. * **Work environment:** A dynamic and collaborative atmosphere set in a beautiful natural environment—perfect for unwinding during your free time.
