DESCRIPTION **Intermediate Occupational Health and Safety Technician** ==================================================== Eosol Group is seeking an Intermediate Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHS) for a temporary project in the area of **Hijar (Teruel).** **Job Description:** As an Intermediate OHS Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety and health by implementing and supervising occupational health and safety policies and procedures. This role is essential to maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with current regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Implementation and Supervision of the Prevention Plan:** Develop, execute, and supervise the Occupational Health and Safety Prevention Plan for the project, ensuring its proper application and adaptation to the project’s specific requirements. * **Inspections and Audits:** Conduct periodic safety inspections of facilities and workstations to identify and assess risks. Carry out audits to verify compliance with OHS regulations. * **OHS Training:** Design and deliver occupational health and safety training to staff, tailoring content to different job profiles and associated risks. * **Incident Investigation:** Investigate and analyze occupational incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and proposing corrective measures to prevent recurrence. * **Document Management:** Maintain up-to-date all OHS-related documentation, including records, risk assessments, safety and health plans, etc. * **Supervision of Protective Equipment:** Ensure the correct use and maintenance of both personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protective equipment (CPE), guaranteeing that staff have appropriate means for their protection. * **Coordination with Other Departments:** Collaborate closely with project management, middle management, and other departments to integrate OHS into all project phases. * **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure compliance with current OHS legislation and the company’s internal policies. **Job Requirements:** * **Specialized OHS Training:** Vocational training (VET) or university degree related to Occupational Health and Safety. * **Professional Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of demonstrable experience in similar roles, preferably within the energy or construction sectors. * **Knowledge of OHS Regulations:** Solid understanding of Spanish occupational health and safety legislation. * **Communication Skills:** Ability to deliver training and effectively communicate the importance of safety. * **Analytical Skills:** Capability to investigate incidents, assess risks, and propose effective solutions. * **Organization and Planning:** Aptitude for document management and planning preventive activities. * **Availability:** Availability—temporal and/or geographic—to travel to the Hijar (Teruel) area. * **Proactivity:** Proactive attitude focused on continuous improvement in safety matters. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Additional OHS certifications. * Familiarity with OHS management tools. * Experience in renewable energy projects. **Why Join Eosol Group?** We offer the opportunity to join a highly relevant temporary project in the energy sector, where you can develop your OHS skills and expertise.
