We seek to onboard an **API Platform Developer** with strong API governance and platform architecture orientation, responsible for defining, evolving, and operating cross-cutting API capabilities in hybrid and multicloud environments. The candidate will join a highly strategic context, working alongside backend teams and business domains to ensure contractual consistency, security, observability, and global scalability. The role has a strong platform focus: governance of OpenAPI and AsyncAPI standards, multi-region deployment management, cross-cloud event integration, and definition of edge security policies. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to the evolution toward AI-native practices in observability, automation, and platform engineering—these aspects are desirable and trainable if the candidate possesses a solid foundation in API platforms. REQUIREMENTS ### **Mandatory** * Over 5 years of experience in platform or API engineering within enterprise environments. * Solid experience in API governance and management of global catalogs (e.g., Apigee Hybrid or equivalent solutions). * Proficiency in OpenAPI 3.x and AsyncAPI standards, and consistent contract definition. * Experience in hybrid and multicloud architectures (Azure and GCP). * Advanced knowledge of messaging and event-driven design using Kafka and Schema Registry. * Implementation of API security mechanisms: OAuth 2.1, OpenID Connect, and mTLS. * Experience with Kubernetes (primarily AKS) and containerized deployments using Docker. * CI/CD automation and GitOps using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD. * Use of observability tools such as Datadog and/or Dynatrace. * Fluent English and Spanish, with minimum C1 level in English. ### **Desirable** * Experience with AI-native practices applied to platforms (AIOps, semantic observability, intelligent automation). * Knowledge of RAG architectures, vector databases, and integration patterns with LLMs. * Experience in API monetization, rate limiting, API keys, and metering. * Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, Packer, Istio, or Linkerd. * Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards such as Open Banking, ISO 20022, or enterprise compliance. * Experience defining LLMOps standards, prompt governance, and model governance. **Work Model:** Hybrid. * Madrid: 2 days onsite. * Other locations: 4 days onsite.
