Loyola University encourages applications from candidates meeting the following general professional profile: * PhD in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automatic Control Engineering, or Physics. * Teaching experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Electrotechnics, Physics I, Physics II, and Digital Electronics. Laboratory instrumentation proficiency. * Demonstrable research experience in Electronic Technology, Digital Systems, or Applied Physics. Knowledge of circuit design and simulation. * Desirable: familiarity with hardware description languages (VHDL), microcontroller programming, or FPGA programming. * English proficiency at minimum CEFR level C1, demonstrable.
