Identify guests' reservation needs and determine the appropriate room type. Verify room type and rate availability. Explain guarantee policies, special rates, and cancellation policies to callers. Address and document special requests. Answer questions regarding property facilities and services, as well as room accommodations. Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue. Enter and access data in the reservation system. Indicate special room reservation types (e.g., complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel agency inspection rates, and wholesale reservations) by correctly entering the code and rate into the reservation system. Follow escalating procedures when addressing guest concerns. Comply with company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets; protect guest and colleague privacy and security. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and fulfill their service needs; express genuine appreciation; assist guests with disabilities.
