Likewise, assume responsibility for building a cohesive multidisciplinary team composed of skilled and motivated professionals. **Main Responsibilities:** * Ensure high-quality care in the Unit by efficiently managing resources so that each patient receives the most appropriate set of diagnostic and therapeutic services, considering continuity of care and improvement of clinical processes, within Matia Osasun's strategy and under the supervision of the Medical Directorate. * Lead and coordinate personnel under their responsibility, ensuring they act in accordance with Matia’s strategy, values, mission, and vision, while also safeguarding their competence, engagement, and satisfaction, emphasizing coordination among teams, processes, and projects, and maintaining an appropriate work environment. * Carry out planning and management of assigned personnel. * Participate in and report to Matia's EGAS (Healthcare Management Team) and coordinate with Matia's Rehabilitation Coordinator. * Promote, as an expert, all technical aspects related to the Unit within the organization by proposing new activities, technical adaptations or implementations, new protocols, and projects. * Annually review the outpatient rehabilitation process and manage activity, quality, and health outcome indicators together with the Service Coordinator. * Manage the waiting list, quality system, and coordinate and plan activities with the Admissions Department. * Manage and develop external relationships with healthcare authorities, other public and private care providers, scientific and professional societies. * Perform any clinical, research, and teaching activities assigned according to service organization. * Develop training and R&D projects. **Professional Profile:** * Degree in Medicine (officially recognized qualification in the case of non-EU professionals) and specialization via MIR in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The following will be considered advantageous: * PhD in Health Sciences. * Professional experience as a specialist physician in physical medicine and rehabilitation. * Prior experience in managing and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. * Research and teaching activities in Health Sciences. * Experience in team management and leadership. * Knowledge of Basque, English, and French. * Communication skills, empathy, and teamwork ability. * Additional specific training relevant to the position.
