Job Summary: We are seeking a Zone Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper operation and safety of hotels through corrective maintenance and management of diverse tasks. Key Responsibilities: 1. Alda Hotels, a hotel chain originating from Santiago de Compostela with over 90 accommodations across northern Spain, requires a “Zone Maintenance Technician” in Soria, with the following responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the hotels within their assigned area of responsibility, reporting to the STMZ for general maintenance matters and to the STIZ for IT-related maintenance matters. **Corrective Maintenance:** * Inspect buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. * Perform maintenance on electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair lighting panels). * Assist in the installation of climate control systems (supply and exhaust). * Maintain heating systems and piping to ensure functionality. * Inspect alarm systems (fire, security) and schedule repairs as necessary. * Perform general maintenance of computer and communication equipment. * Carry out manual repairs when required (e.g., fix locks, replace windows, etc.). * Conduct general maintenance procedures (e.g., landscaping) and other assigned tasks (painting, carpentry, etc.). * Assist in preparing budgets and ensure adherence to them. * Procure goods and place orders with suppliers, subject to prior authorization by the Controller or Corrective Maintenance Manager. **Minimum Education:** * Vocational Training (FP) in Electricity, Carpentry, and Plumbing. **Minimum Experience:** * 3–5 years as a Maintenance Technician. **Required Knowledge:** * Knowledge of air conditioning, electronics, electricity, and boilers. **Minimum Requirements:** * Communication * Teamwork * Benchmarking * Negotiation * Results orientation * Leadership * People management * Strategic planning * Conflict management * Analytical ability **Employment Conditions:** * **Contract Type:** Temporary replacement contract with potential for indefinite duration. * **Start Date:** Immediate * **Working Hours:** Full-time (40 hours per week) * **Salary:** As per collective agreement **At Alda, we promote inclusive measures; therefore, in all our processes we value and consider candidates with disabilities.** Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Contract Benefits: * Mileage reimbursement * Training program * Company-provided mobile phone Application Questions: * Are you available to start immediately? * Do you have your own vehicle and driver’s license?
