Wash and sanitize kitchen and storage room areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment. Receive deliveries, properly store perishable goods, and rotate inventory. Ensure clean dishes are stored in appropriate areas. Use chemical detergents, sanitizers, and rinse agents in a three-compartment sink to wash dishes. Inspect, remove, and stack clean items; return dirty items for re-washing and re-cleaning. Place all items on racks and apply hot water via spray to loosen and remove food residues. Sort, soak, and wash/re-wash silverware. Sort and separate containers for soiled items. Empty trash bins and maintain the waste storage area. Clean and mop all areas within assigned departments. Dispose of glass in proper containers. Break down cardboard boxes and other recyclable materials and place them into recycling bins. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and hazardous work conditions to management, complete safety training and certifications. Protect company assets. Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team efforts to achieve common goals. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds (22.5 kg) or less without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods. Reach above head and below knees, including bending, twisting at the waist, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties requested by supervisors.
