What will be your mission? The Loyalty Technician’s main mission will be to develop and implement content strategies to retain and convert our social base—comprising members, donors, and interested audiences. This role focuses especially on designing loyalty campaigns for members and donors, with particular attention to email and other digital content that helps increase engagement and support for our humanitarian mission. THE MAIN FUNCTIONS YOU WILL CARRY OUT ARE… * Design and manage the end-to-end donor experience—from welcome through loyalty, reactivation, and churn prevention. * Develop personalized communication strategies (thank-you messages, upgrades, milestones, and recognition) based on donor profile and donation type. * Create and maintain a coherent, emotionally resonant narrative about the real impact of contributions, aligned with UNRWA’s mission and values. * Draft and coordinate high-value content for members and donors: newsletters, emails, website content, campaigns, landing pages, and specific materials. * Produce impact stories and visual content in collaboration with other departments and external providers. * Design, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns and automated journeys focused on retention, conversion, and engagement. * Manage social base segmentation and data analysis to identify risks, growth opportunities, and areas for continuous improvement. * Measure campaign performance, prepare periodic reports, and propose strategic improvements based on key metrics. * Coordinate cross-functionally with Digital Mobilization, Membership Management, and Communications to ensure coherence and effectiveness in campaigns and emergencies. * Provide operational support to the department, ensuring internal information flow, document organization, and review of donor-facing materials. PROFILE FOR OUR ORGANIZATION, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU HAVE… * Higher education degree in Journalism, Advertising, or related field. * Demonstrated experience of at least 2 years in content creation, preferably in copywriting or email marketing roles. * Proven experience in donor/member loyalty within NGOs, as well as audience segmentation and development of automated journeys. * Advanced proficiency in email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, etc.). * User-level proficiency in Office 365\. * High level of English. * Residence in Madrid. * Academic qualifications are desirable but not mandatory if the candidate demonstrates equivalent experience and competencies.
