Microbiology Manager **Title:** Microbiology Manager (QC Microbiology Manager) **Location:** Rubí (Barcelona) **Reports to:** Head of Quality Control **Department:** Quality Control / Technical Management **Team size:** 2 direct reports **Job Mission:** Define and implement microbiological control protocols to ensure the microbiological quality of products and manufacturing processes. **Key Responsibilities:** * New developments: Challenge test management. * Utilities: Microbiological control of the purified water system and loop. * Materials and product: Microbiological control of raw materials, bulk products, and finished products. * Production environment: Environmental and surface monitoring; equipment verification and in-process cleaning validation. * Sampling: Management of raw material sampling. * R&D: Microbiological control in R&D trials and materials. * Leadership: Lead the Quality Control microbiology team; performance evaluation, development plans, and continuous feedback. * Key collaboration: Close coordination with Quality Assurance to ensure regulatory compliance and define quality processes. **Requirements:** * Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Sciences or Pure Sciences. * Experience: Significant experience in a similar role. * Specific knowledge: Applied microbiology, Challenge Test, GMP, ISO 22716, ISO 13485. * Languages: Fluent Spanish; intermediate English. * Competencies: Analytical ability, people orientation, teamwork, talent management, and feedback culture.
