We are looking for a **Thermal Installation Engineer** to join the **technical office / studies department** of an installation company specializing in **renewable energy and thermal solutions**, located near A Coruña. The selected candidate will become part of a **multidisciplinary technical team**, actively participating in the **study, design, calculation, and technical definition phases** of installations, as well as providing technical support to commercial, production, and construction departments. This is a **long-term position**, designed for someone interested in growing and consolidating themselves within the company’s project. #### **Main Responsibilities** **Design and Calculation of Installations** * Design and sizing of thermal installations: air conditioning, heating, domestic hot water (DHW), ventilation, aerothermal systems, geothermal systems, solar thermal systems, and other renewable solutions. * Definition of schematic diagrams, selection of equipment and materials. **Technical Studies and Pre-Sales Support** * Technical support to the commercial department in preparing preliminary studies and quotations for residential building projects, homeowners’ associations, and, in the medium term, larger-scale projects (tertiary/industrial). **Technical Documentation** * Preparation of technical reports, drawings, calculations, material lists, measurements, and budgets. * Preparation of documentation required for permits, legalizations, and regulatory compliance. * Development of clear and structured documentation to facilitate on-site execution and reduce incidents. **Internal Coordination and Construction Support** * Coordination with the technical office, site supervisors, and production to ensure technical feasibility of projects. * Prompt resolution of technical queries during execution. * Occasional site visits (this is not a daily field supervision role). **Regulatory Compliance and Quality** * Application and monitoring of current regulations (CTE, RITE, and applicable legislation). * Participation in standardization and improvement of the department’s technical processes. **Continuous Improvement** * Collaboration in the professionalization of the studies department and implementation of improvements in design and documentation processes. * Interest in adopting new technologies and renewable solutions. #### **Required Profile** * University degree in Engineering (Industrial, Energy, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field) is mandatory. * A Master’s degree or specialized training in renewable energy is highly valued. * Minimum 1\-4 years of experience in thermal installation design, calculation, or execution. + Junior profiles with practical experience and solid technical foundations are welcome. * Knowledge of or interest in technical regulations: CTE, RITE, and associated legislation. * Proficiency in technical software: AutoCAD / Revit, CYPE, DIM, HvacCalc, or similar tools. * Ability to interpret drawings, perform measurements, and contribute to budgeting. * Valid driver’s license (Class B). #### **Key Competencies** * Attention to detail and commitment to technical quality. * Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities. * Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and desire to grow within a long-term project. * Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. * Ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments. * Empathy, professionalism, and willingness to interact effectively with various internal teams. #### **What We Offer** * Opportunity to join an established and growing company specializing in renewable energy installations. * Permanent contract following the adaptation period. * Competitive salary commensurate with experience. * Intensive summer working schedule. * Collaborative work environment, focused on teamwork rather than isolated departments. * Job stability, continuous training, and professional development within the technical department.
