Management of the supplier portfolio and negotiation of prices and terms. 2. Development and management of actions to reduce prices and costs. 3. Definition and implementation of new purchasing queries and reports. A leading company in the industrial vehicle sector is looking to hire a Purchasing Technician to expand its Purchasing Department team at its Valencia office. Key Responsibilities: * Management of the assigned supplier portfolio, including price negotiation, other contractual terms, and evaluation of quotations. * Liaison with assigned regular suppliers and with various internal departments (technical office, logistics, production, administration). * Development and management of actions to reduce prices and costs. * Analysis of BOMs and ABC classifications. * Monitoring and updating of price indices. * Definition and implementation of new purchasing queries and reports to advance automation of administrative tasks. * Reporting to the Head of Purchasing. Required Knowledge and Experience: * Higher education qualification, preferably a degree in Business Administration or related field. * IT skills: Advanced Excel, Power BI, and standard office software proficiency. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar roles, preferably within metal-based industrial companies. * Organized, solution-oriented individual with strong teamwork capabilities and a drive for continuous improvement. Offer: * Direct employment contract with the company and job stability. * Annual gross salary range of €27,000–€34,000, depending on experience.
