We are looking for a proactive and organised Tenancy Change and Nomination Coordinator to join our dynamic Lettings service. In this role, you’ll play a key part in effectively co\-ordinating the customer experience and legal duties when managing tenancy change, mutual exchange and nomination requests. Ensuring tenants understand their responsibilities and enable tenancy sustainment by completing pre\-tenancy checks prior to tenancy changes, mutual exchanges. **Key duties and responsibilities of our Tenancy Change and Nomination Coordinator:** * Co\-ordinate activities around tenancy changes, mutual exchanges and the advertisement and allocation of Housing Association Nominations, and ensure these are logged timely and accurately, contacting the customer to obtain additional information. * Compile all information required to enable the accurate, thorough and timely advertisement of Housing Association Nominations. * Produce shortlists of applicants from the Housing Management System at the conclusion of property advert cycle and select appropriate applicant from shortlists in line with published policy and procedures, where necessary bypassing applicants assessed as unsuitable. * Complete pre tenancy checks on suitable applicants before formal nominations is made to the Housing Association (HA) \& where necessary referring to other internal or external departments to enable decision on suitability of offer. * Communicate effectively as a named point of contact with customers throughout the tenancy change, mutual exchange and nomination process. * Work with our chosen Mutual Exchange provider to develop positive relationships and maximise our Mutual Exchange offer. * Be involved in project work to ensure the continuous improvement of the Berneslai Homes Lettings Service. *Please refer to the full Job Description and Employee Specification upon completing your application.* **What we’re looking for in our Tenancy Change and Nomination Coordinator:** * 4 GCSE’s (Grade A\-C) or equivalent qualification and relevant experience. * Demonstrate a positive, flexible approach to team working. * Experience of working with software applications including Microsoft Office and bespoke databases /software. * Experience of working within a customer focused service. * Experience of working effectively on own initiative with minimum supervision and to work in a team situation. * Positive, flexible attitude and commitment to personal development. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Commitment to equality, diversity, and confidentiality. * Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed. **What you might be asking is, why work for us?** We are proud to put our people first!
