Play a key role in translating 3GPP standards and applicable regulations into products within the Defense environment (current and future Releases), including architectures, technical requirements, and product designs—ensuring correct implementation in real-world solutions and alignment with operational, regulatory, and security requirements specific to critical environments. Actively participate in defining 5G SA architectures, private networks, and tactical solutions, collaborating closely with engineering teams. **DAILY CHALLENGES YOU WILL FACE:** * Conduct in-depth analysis of 3GPP standards (RAN, Core, Security, Network Slicing, QoS, MEC, etc.) and their evolution, assessing applicability to 5G products for defense and security. * Define the end-to-end technical architecture of 5G solutions (5G Core, RAN, CPE, edge), considering performance, latency, availability, resilience, and security requirements. * Draft and maintain technical and functional requirements for 5G products, ensuring traceability from standard to implementation. * Lead the definition of key 5G components and their interaction and integration with internal and third-party solutions. * Define 5G security strategies, including authentication, identity management, encryption, network isolation, and threat protection. * Collaborate with software and hardware teams to ensure correct implementation of standards and architectural decisions. * Participate in certification, homologation, and regulatory compliance processes. * Conduct ongoing technology monitoring on 3GPP evolution, 5G Advanced, and future technologies, as well as other certifications applicable to defense. * Support pre-sales and business areas in defining the technical aspects of proposals and tenders. **DO YOU IDENTIFY WITH THIS? NOW IS THE TIME TO TAKE THE LEAP!** **EDUCATION PREFERRED:** * Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent; a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in radio communications is valued. **ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS THAT COUNT:** * In-depth knowledge of 3GPP standards. * Proficiency in 5G SA architecture, interfaces, and signaling. * Network Slicing, QoS, URLLC, and advanced use cases. * Private 5G networks and edge computing. * 5G network security. * System-level vision and architectural capability. * Technical leadership. * Technical communication. * Rigor and autonomy. * Advanced technical English. **DESIRED EXPERIENCE:** * Solid experience in 5G technologies and participation in the design or deployment of 5G networks.
