The successful candidate will assume a strategic role within the team, combining technical leadership, execution capability, and architectural vision to ensure delivery of robust, reusable, and business- and product-objective-aligned solutions. This position targets professionals with a solid backend development background in Java and Spring Boot, and prior experience leading technical teams in Java projects. The candidate will play a key role in defining development standards, evolving engineering best practices, and overseeing the technical quality of solutions. Additionally, they will be responsible for mentoring the team’s growth, facilitating adoption of common frameworks and libraries across the company, and ensuring applications maintain high levels of performance, maintainability, and reliability. The technical environment requires experience in microservices architectures, reactive-stack development, and designing reusable Java libraries for multiple projects. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, active participation across the full software lifecycle, and serving as a technical reference for adopting new features from the Java and Spring ecosystem are especially valued. REQUIREMENTS **Mandatory** * Minimum 6 years’ experience in Java and Spring Boot development. * Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Tech Lead leading Java projects. * Solid knowledge of Java and experience building robust, reliable applications. * Extensive experience with Spring and Spring Boot. * Solid knowledge of Spring Security. * Experience with reactive stack: Spring WebFlux, Reactor Netty, RxJava or equivalent technologies. * Experience in microservices architectures: REST APIs, API Gateway, and distributed environments. * Proficiency with Maven for building and dependency management. * Experience with JUnit, TDD, and end-to-end testing. * Strong foundation in object-oriented programming and design patterns. * Experience creating reusable Java libraries for diverse projects. * Technical leadership, mentoring, and ability to support junior profiles. * Ability to define coding standards, best practices, and quality criteria. * Communication skills to coordinate with technical and product teams. * Ability to stay updated on the evolution of the Java and Spring ecosystems. * Advanced English proficiency. **Desirable** * Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWKS management, and authentication mechanisms. * Knowledge or experience in observability, logging, and monitoring using tools such as ELK, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry. * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for microservice deployment. * Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS and OpenShift. * Familiarity with AWS services. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar. * Experience in Agile environments and collaboration with cross-functional teams. * Experience with message-oriented architectures using RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar. * Strong communication skills for effective interaction with multidisciplinary teams. **Conditions** * Location: Hybrid, at offices — Madrid, Málaga, Sevilla, Córdoba, Granada, Jaén. * English: advanced.
