In a Nutshell As a Specialist Technician at Bystronic, you will play a key role in installing, maintaining, and optimizing our technological solutions at our customers’ facilities. Your mission will be to ensure our machines operate flawlessly, delivering the best possible customer experience and contributing to the company’s success. What You Will Do Install and commission Bystronic machines at customer sites, ensuring compliance with all technical and operational requirements. Assemble electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic installations, ensuring proper functionality. Perform maintenance and repairs on customer machines, efficiently resolving electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues. Record and communicate technical reports in our CRM system, including: Service reports and support request forms. Customer feedback. Installation and maintenance documentation. Apply and improve quality processes according to ISO standards. **Customer training on key topics such as:** Machine safety. Basic maintenance to optimize performance. Provide technical advice to customers, ensuring they derive maximum value from our solutions. Support operational activities, such as equipment loading and unloading. Manage spare parts, ensuring correct ordering and timely delivery to customers. Collaborate with sales and service teams, providing technical input for commercial proposals. Participate in trade fairs and exhibitions, installing and operating our machines to demonstrate their potential. Handle quality complaints, ensuring resolution and follow-up to continuously improve our products. Your Education and Experience **Technical education:** Technical school, vocational training, electrical or mechanical engineering, or a university degree in a related field. **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, laser cutting technology, or bending (preferred). **Solid technical knowledge in:** Interpretation of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics. Differentiation between CNC and PLC systems, as well as use of visualization software for these systems. Troubleshooting technical issues in industrial environments. Use of software tools such as DMS, CRM, LMS, and Microsoft Windows. Principles of safety and regulations in mechanical engineering. Technical English proficiency to communicate effectively in international settings.
