Job Summary: We are seeking a street sweeper for urban maintenance in Castañares de Rioja, performing street cleaning, flowerbed maintenance, recycling center operations, and cleaning of municipal premises. Key Responsibilities: 1. Urban area maintenance and street cleaning. 2. Operation of the recycling center and cleaning of municipal facilities. 3. Teamwork and commitment to public space are valued. A street sweeper position is offered in Castañares de Rioja (La Rioja) to carry out urban area maintenance tasks for the municipality. Duties include sweeping streets, emptying trash bins, removing dry weeds, and cleaning storm drains, rainwater manholes, and some river-related infrastructure. The role also involves watering flowerbeds, managing the recycling center, and cleaning the fronton (Basque pelota court), municipal buildings, and the municipal picnic area—including their trash bins. Prior experience in similar roles as a street sweeper or street cleaner is required. The contract is temporary, initially lasting six months with possible extension, and entails a weekly working schedule of thirty-five hours.
