**Description:** ---------------- ***O7 Hotels: World2Meet Group*** At ***O7 Hotels***, the hotel management company of ***World2Meet***, we continue to grow and are looking for new talents to join our team in Lanzarote, specifically at our 3-star hotel in Puerto del Carmen. We are a young and dynamic hotel chain headquartered in Palma de Mallorca, currently expanding, specializing in 3- and 4-star hotels that offer travelers maximum comfort, functional facilities, and a professional team focused on delivering personalized and close service. ***FUNCTIONS*** * Perform cash reconciliation and receive the handover from the previous shift * Provide continuous customer service and follow up with guests * Manage telephone switchboard * Check reservation documents (prices, proforma invoices) * Respond to emails * Ensure awareness of updates and information from the outgoing shift * Ensure all shift-specific tasks are completed * Use established records within the department * Verify availability of necessary work materials and notify the department manager if lacking * Record incidents, updates, or guest comments in designated systems * Know or ensure access to information regarding all hotel services, rates, and schedules * Attend department meetings. If held during days off, leave, or vacation, read the minutes and stay informed about discussed topics * Monitor and supervise the work area * Report to supervisor any malfunctions or cleanliness issues in the Reception area * Keep the work area clean and organized * Comply with company regulations regarding quality, environment, and occupational risk prevention, and collaborate with the hotel in their implementation and continuous improvement * Know upselling and cross-selling procedures and apply them * During continuous improvement processes, make suggestions or improvement proposals to the department manager * Customer billing (guest check-outs) * Safe deposit box rentals and excursion reservations **Requirements:** --------------- ***We’d love to hear from you if you have...*** * Demonstrable qualifications for the position offered * Proven prior experience in responsible roles within establishments with a minimum of 200 rooms and handling all types of board schemes * Strong command of English and German * Proficiency in Windows-based software and other management and billing programs * Conditions will be negotiable according to merit and experience \*\*The hotel receptionist will report directly to the reception manager
