




Position Summary: Autoocupació is seeking a Labor Career Counselor in Girona for the MAIS program, providing intensive support to groups facing labor integration challenges. Key Highlights: 1. Our motto is ***I Am Who I Want To Be***. As part of the foundation’s growth process, we aim to hire a **Labor Career Counselor** for the MAIS program at our **Girona** delegation. The **MAIS Program** (Active Labor Integration Measures) is an initiative of the Catalan Public Employment Service targeting long-term unemployed individuals. It offers a personalized integration pathway combining career counseling, training, **intensive support**, and assistance with employment contracts. The program operates in coordination with local agents and companies to enhance employability and facilitate reintegration into the labor market, with special attention to **groups facing greater difficulties**. * **Responsibilities**: * Initial contact with service users to agree on the counseling pathway. * Conducting individual interviews. * Facilitating **group sessions**. * Supporting labor market integration. * Closing and evaluating the counseling process. * Document management. * Managing the **Galileu** application. **Education:** University degree in Psychology and/or Pedagogy. **Experience**: Experience in counseling, support, mediation, consultancy, training, or similar activities—especially those targeted at individuals in situations of vulnerability or at risk of social exclusion—will be valued. **Competencies**: * Communication skills for conducting individual interviews and group sessions. * Knowledge of job search channels and tools, as well as labor market functioning. * Active listening, empathy, and user-centered orientation. * Knowledge of intervention methodologies with young people. * Teamwork, cooperation, and autonomy. * Planning and organization. **Languages**: Catalan and Spanish (C1 level). **Digital Competencies**: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with the GIA and Galileu applications. **Additional Notes**: Join a dynamic, growing team with strong drive and passion for helping people become who they want to be. **Start Date**: Immediate. **Working Hours**: Full-time (Fridays consist of an intensive morning shift). **Workplace Location**: Girona. **Salary**: Between 21,000 and 22,000 gross euros per year, paid in 12 installments.
