We are seeking a person who will participate in the installation, relocation, and repair of network points across the entire UPC campus, managing tasks such as IT infrastructure service administration, request handling, incident resolution, change management, etc. Transportation of IT equipment is required to perform job duties. **Your challenge** * Execute administration and management tasks for network connectivity infrastructures, handle requests, and resolve incidents. * Perform technical tasks associated with network projects, manage client communication, and participate in service delivery and transition-to-operation activities. * Transport TIC equipment using your own vehicle to carry out job duties and relocate equipment. * Prepare technical documentation for projects and services, both for internal use and for clients and end users. * Conduct technological monitoring and propose improvements for the continuous evolution of systems and the service catalog. * Provide technical and functional support to users. **You will need** * Education: University degree in STEM or Higher Vocational Training (CFGS) in Computer Systems Administration. * Experience: 5\+ years of experience in a similar position, administering Windows or Linux systems—preferably in high-volume and high-availability environments. * Knowledge: + Of systems, Oracle and SQL databases, communications, and security. + VMware and Docker / Kubernetes platforms. + Telecommunications networks (Routing, Firewalls, Switching, VPN, etc.), Load Balancers, DNS, and WiFi. + Proficiency in at least one scripting tool or software (e.g., awk, python, etc.). * Languages: Catalan, Spanish, and English. * Competencies: + Teamwork ability + Problem-solving ability + Customer orientation + Initiative and innovation **You will stand out if you have** * Knowledge and experience in: + Shared disk storage cabinets, backup systems such as Commvault + Management of communication equipment, especially Cisco routers, switches, and protocols such as DNS and DHCP + LDAP environment management on OpenText (Novell) + Database management: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc. * High-performance and high-availability storage systems * Experience and/or knowledge of the ITIL methodology **How IThinkUPC takes care of you** Immediate incorporation Job stability and professional growth * ️ Work-life balance: We offer an innovative and award-winning in-house work-life balance program "PEOPLE FIRST" because our people matter.
