Who We Are Fundació El Xiprer is a social action organization rooted in the Vallès Oriental region. We support people in situations of vulnerability through accommodation, food provision, and housing, guided by a community-oriented approach grounded in dignity, relationships, and shared responsibility. According to the 2024 Annual Report, the project mobilizes a broad volunteer base and sustains significant local activity: 203 volunteers, 19\.783 meals served, and 9\.270 food parcels distributed, among other hospitality and guidance initiatives. The Role’s Challenge * Ensure stable and safe operation of services (accommodation, house and warehouse, and housing). * Organize contracted staff and volunteers, transforming tasks into clear, sustainable, and caring roles. * Energize project teams and enhance their capabilities. * Implement the Strategic Plan 2026\-2028 with annual milestones, simple indicators, and accountability mechanisms. * Drive projects, partnerships, and public and private resource acquisition—without losing the organization’s unique ethos and style. * Protect El Xiprer’s soul: an approach rooted in dignity, relationship, and open, inclusive spirituality. Main Responsibilities * Operational management and organization: routines, minimal protocols (1\-2 pages), decision-making pathways, and incident tracking. * Leadership of contracted professionals and volunteers: goal setting, monitoring, conflict management, and full volunteer lifecycle management (recruitment, onboarding, training, care, recognition, and departure). * Strategic Plan implementation: annual operational plan, quarterly traffic-light reporting, and a basic impact evidence system. * Projects and resources: project and grant development and monitoring, portfolio of funding calls, and coordination of resource acquisition and supporter base. * Partnerships: relations with public administrations, organizations, businesses, and the local community network. * Ethics and privacy: guidelines for image and data use, and impact reporting free of stigma. **Profile:** Profile We Seek Education: * University degree preferably in social, economic, management, public administration, or social sciences fields (Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Business Administration, Political Science, or similar). * Additional specialized training in third-sector organization leadership, social project management, foundation governance, or fundraising is valued. * Complementary training in team leadership, conflict mediation, or organizational change management is desirable. Experience and Knowledge: * Experience (approximately 5\-8 years) in social or third-sector organizations, with coordination or management responsibilities. * Experience managing teams and intensive volunteering, with capacity to organize and care simultaneously. * Proficiency in project and grant management (design, monitoring, justification, and evidence generation). * Understanding of governance structures (separation of governance and management, delegation frameworks, accountability mechanisms). * Ability to build partnerships and ensure economic sustainability (diversification of funding sources).
