Temporary civil servant of the County Council of Pla de l'Estany to fill the position of Technical Engineer of Sanitation \- Participate in and monitor projects developed in the field of the environment. \- Provide internal and external information on aspects related to environmental regulations. \- Monitor non-compliance with environmental regulations through visits to companies and establishments, conducting inspection reports. \- Prepare technical reports regarding various applications or requests related to environmental issues. \- Collaborate in the contracting and supervision of subcontracted companies responsible for operating the region's wastewater treatment plants, as well as controlling and monitoring their subsequent activities. \- Process discharge permits for wastewater from companies in the region according to current regulations. \- Coordinate and supervise maintenance services for the various installations within the sanitation system under their responsibility (wastewater treatment plants and collector networks). \- Maintain territorial presence by being knowledgeable about the municipalities integrated into the systems and maintaining relations with municipal technicians in their area. \- Provide advisory support to municipal technicians and other administrations on queries related to sanitation within their systems. \- Cooperate/interact with the Catalan Water Agency (sludge permits, communication and incident management, among others). \- Evaluate proposals submitted by bidders related to their system, issuing technical reports. \- Conduct periodic inspection visits to assigned systems. \- Review results of sample analyses, flow rates, consumption, and outputs from wastewater treatment plants. \- Review analysis reports on causes of 'non-conformities' and incidents prepared by companies or entities contracted for system operations. \- Prepare the annual report for each sanitation system and the renewal and improvement plan for sanitation systems under their responsibility. \- Draft tender documents or issue purchase orders according to the Public Sector Contracts Law for actions to be carried out in their sanitation systems, and manage and monitor the various actions included in the renewal and improvement plans of the sanitation systems under their responsibility. \- Carry out visits, inspections, and prepare relevant reports for activities that have requested discharge permits. \- Plan and approve the annual inspection schedule. \- Prepare technical reports within their scope of competence. \- Provide guidance and instruction in engineering matters. \- Prepare technical reports concerning the assessment of municipal activities in the region that must be submitted to the approval of the County Environmental Panel, as well as respond to requests from municipalities regarding municipal-level project activities. \- Supervise and control contracts assigned to them by the County Council. * Industrial Technical Engineer degree or equivalent university qualification qualifying for these functions * Catalan (spoken Superior, written Superior) * Driving license: B * Temporary employment contract (13 months) * Full-time * Gross monthly salary ranging from '2600' to '2800' * Other relevant information: Temporary civil servant
