We are seeking a forklift operator to work in La Pobla de Claramunt under an interim contract. The main responsibility is to operate a 17-ton Komatsu 720 forklift equipped with clamps to load and move material bales. Additionally, the operator must supply this material to the pulp mill’s conveyor belt, following instructions received via a tablet. The work environment is a warehouse or industrial plant, characterized by noise and ongoing machinery movement. The selected candidate must work safely and efficiently, ensuring materials arrive at the correct location at the right time. Responsibility and the ability to follow standardized procedures to maintain productivity are highly valued. Furthermore, the candidate will collaborate with the team to prevent production bottlenecks. Comfort with basic technology—such as tablets—for receiving instructions and reporting incidents is essential. Precision, attention to detail, and a consistent pace are required to meet the position’s quality and safety standards. At least one year of prior forklift operator experience is required; experience operating a front-end loader and using clamps is preferred. A valid forklift operator license is mandatory, along with demonstrated ability to work rotating shifts. Responsibility and familiarity with tablet-based task management are also valued. No specific academic qualifications are required, though training related to logistics or industrial operations is appreciated.
