As Recreation Supervisor, you will lead the daily operation of the children’s recreational program, ensuring every activity is delivered to The Ritz\-Carlton’s highest standards of safety, quality, and hospitality. Your responsibilities include… * Supervise the daily operation of the Recreation and Ritz Kids programs, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and enriching experience for all participating children. * Coordinate and supervise the team during each shift, organizing schedules, assigning duties, and ensuring proper operational coverage. * Lead, train, and motivate the team, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous development. * Plan, coordinate, and execute an innovative calendar of recreational, educational, and themed activities tailored to different age groups. * Ensure compliance with registration procedures (check\-in/check\-out), attendance tracking, and established protocols for childcare. * Build trusting relationships with children and families, delivering personalized service and professionally and empathetically managing any incidents or special needs. * Supervise the condition, cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of facilities, materials, and equipment, ensuring adherence to the resort’s safety and quality standards. * Collaborate on organizing special events, camps, celebrations, vacation activities, and family programs. * Actively promote Recreation programs and activities among guests and other resort departments. * Manage guest inquiries, suggestions, and incidents, providing agile solutions that exceed expectations. * Uphold all policies, procedures, and regulations related to child safety, risk prevention, and minor protection. * Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless and exceptional experience for families throughout their stay. * Ensure adherence to service standards, The Ritz\-Carlton Gold Standards, and Marriott International policies. What we expect from you… * Prior experience supervising teams in recreation, entertainment, children’s leisure, hospitality, or similar environments. * Experience working with children in educational, recreational, or sports activities. * Demonstrated ability to lead teams, organize operations, and manage multiple priorities. * Excellent communication skills and guest orientation. * A positive attitude, initiative, and the ability to resolve incidents calmly and professionally. * Strong commitment to child safety, well\-being, and service excellence. * Formal education in Early Childhood Education, Teaching, Socio\-cultural Animation, Physical Activity Sciences, Tourism, or related fields is highly valued. * Certification in First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain it. * Professional proficiency in English and Spanish. Additional languages are valued. * Valid work permit in Spain.
