Seat guests at an available and clean table, pull out chairs, and place a current and clean menu in front of each guest. Guide guests through the dining room and assist them as needed. Move and arrange tables and chairs, adjust overall layout, and manage seating for groups with special needs. Verify that settings are appropriate and that each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and all other standard items. Check that there are sufficient menus and that they are current, clean, and wrinkle-free. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day and follow continuous cleaning procedures. Monitor available seating in dining rooms, service, safety, and guest well-being. Follow and apply all chain safety policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and any working conditions considered hazardous; complete required safety training and obtain necessary certifications. Ensure wearing a clean and complete uniform; maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times while on property; respect confidentiality when sharing brand and/or hotel-related information and protect all company assets. Welcome and greet all guests according to brand standards. Use clear and courteous language in all communications; answer the phone using appropriate language. Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers; work together and support one another to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to other employees' concerns. Ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards. Be accustomed to standing, sitting, and moving for extended periods of time. Move, lift, carry, pull, and place objects weighing up to 4.5 kilograms independently. Perform all other tasks requested by supervisors that are consistent with the position.
