O7 Hotels is the hotel management company of World2Meet, composed of 3 and 4-star hotels designed so that travelers can fully enjoy the best destinations in their own way. Maximum comfort in simple facilities offering all necessary amenities for an excellent vacation, along with a top-level team providing differentiated service. We are offering a receptionist position at a newly opened 4-star hotel in Puerto de la Cruz, with great promotion and growth potential within a recently established company possessing significant expansion potential. ***RESPONSIBILITIES*** * Perform cash reconciliation and receive the cash register from the previous shift * Provide continuous customer service and follow up with guests * Handle telephone switchboard operations * Check documentation received from reservations (prices, proforma invoices) * Respond to emails * Ensure awareness of updates and information from the outgoing shift * Ensure that shift-specific tasks are completed * Use established records within the department * Verify availability of necessary work materials and notify the department manager if any items are missing * Record incidents, updates, or guest comments in designated tracking systems * Know or ensure access to information about all hotel services, rates, and schedules * Attend department meetings. If held during days off, leave, or vacation, read meeting minutes and stay informed about discussed topics * Monitor and supervise the work area * Report to supervisor any malfunctions or cleanliness issues in the reception area * Keep the work area clean and organized * Comply with company regulations regarding quality, environment, and occupational risk prevention, and collaborate with the hotel in achieving continuous improvement * Know and apply Upselling and Cross-selling procedures * In the context of continuous improvement, make suggestions or proposals to the department manager * Process customer billing (guest check-outs) * Rent safes and book excursions **Requirements:** --------------- ***We'd love to hear from you if you have...*** * Demonstrable training relevant to the position offered * Previous demonstrable experience in responsible roles within establishments with a minimum of 200 rooms and handling all types of regimes; fluent knowledge of English and German * Proficiency in Windows-based programs and other management and billing software * Conditions will be negotiable according to qualifications and experience \*\*The hotel receptionist will report directly to the reception manager
