**Bar Staff** At **HOVIMA Hotels**, we continue to grow. We are seeking experienced **bar staff** with a service-oriented mindset and customer focus to deliver unique experiences at our establishments. **Main Responsibilities** * **Customer service at tables and bar counter** * Greet and escort guests, answer questions, and provide information about hotel services. * Efficiently and professionally handle drink orders at the bar. * Report service incidents to the sector supervisor for follow-up. * **Setting up and clearing tables** * Set and clear tables according to protocol, ensuring cleanliness, presentation, and order in the area. * Replace table linens when necessary and maintain an operational workspace. * **Preparing and serving beverages** * Prepare cold and hot drinks: coffee, juices, smoothies, cocktails, and mixed drinks. * Organize and restock necessary auxiliary items (glasses, ice, fruits, etc.). * **Cash handling and register management** * Process payments using POS or assigned system. * Deliver cash reports to the responsible person. * **Workplace maintenance** * Check the functionality of bar equipment at the beginning of each shift. * Maintain order and cleanliness at the bar, shelves, machines, preparation area, and auxiliary zones. * Empty trash bins and comply with hygiene and safety protocols. * **Collecting and replenishing materials** * Collect used tableware, glassware, and utensils from the bar and auxiliary tables. * Restock products and maintain basic inventory availability. **Candidate Requirements** * **Languages**: Intermediate English (essential for direct customer interaction). * **Qualifications**: Valid certificate in **food hygiene and food handling**. * **Experience**: Minimum of **6 months** in a similar role. **What We Offer** * Number of vacancies: 2 * **Permanent** or **substitute** contract, depending on the position. * Join a professional team within a solid and growing company. * Excellent working environment. * Opportunities for training and career development within the group. **Want to become part of the HOVIMA Hotels team?** **Apply now and take the next step in your professional career with us!** Your attitude makes the difference.
